Una tendencia que crece: Comprar desde y hasta el hogar
Las compras por internet siguen escalando en el mundo comercial convirtiéndose en la prioridad para las nuevas generaciones y aquellas personas que prefieren adquirir bienes y servicios desde la comodidad del hogar, bien sea, utilizando su computador, laptop, tablet o smartphone.
La socialización del comercio gracias a las redes sociales, también ha favorecido para que los usuarios sean potenciales consumidores cada minuto del día, gracias a la conexión permanente de las personas con su smartphone y las distintas nuevas plataformas tecnológicas.
La existencia del factor desconfianza cada vez es menor. Está confirmado que, luego de la primera compra en internet, el factor confianza aumenta considerablemente.
Las cifras en América Latina hablan por sí solas, actualmente el 20% de las compras son digitales y las transacciones en línea están creciendo rápidamente superando los pagos en tiendas físicas. Según Mastercard, en el futuro próximo las compras en líneas resaltarán sobre las físicas.
Conociendo este escenario de ascenso para las compras por internet y como efecto de esta gran revolución comercial, los servicios logísticos requieren ampliar su capacidad para ofrecer almacenaje y distribución segura e inmediata que complete el ciclo de venta online que cierra cuando el cliente recibe su encomienda.
En México, por ejemplo: Se comprobó que la principal razón para comprar por internet es la posibilidad de recepción de compras a domicilio. Según un estudio, esta razón superó las demás con un casi 60%.
